I hope you all have had a great start into the new year. This will be a GREAT year for the Chrani-Community. The current Alpha is more fun than the game was ever before 🙂

Websites seem to go out of vogue
While I am still a big fan of the classic internet, it seems like it’s time to move on.
The discord Channel will be the main source for information, as well as authentication in future versions of our bot
We might lose a few players, but then again, we are looking for a community, not for masses of players. What’s the point if our fellow Villagers have no interest in communicating and participating.
Future authentication will happen by using Discord Roles, enabling me to do a few nice features, like giving donators instant access, without having to go through lobbies and authentications and all that stuff. There will be no re-authenticating after wipes either. Once you are in, you will stay in!
The rules will also be on the Discord server (well, they already are), making it clear that they are an absolute must to read.
This will happen as soon as I can figure out how to use discord roles and after I have coded the required bot-backend to communicate with the discord.
This will remove the need to use a mod for our bot, which was required for in-game chat-window authentication.
It will take a little bit of time, but seeing that the current a20 is far from stable, it seems like we’ll have plenty of time to make this work 🙂
